I currently the Patient and Family Centered Care Program Manager in an Academic Medical Center that currently has about 610 beds to include the Children's Hospital and Women and Babies Center. This position is responsible for overseeing the smooth function of the Adult Hospital's and Academic Practice Medical Groups patent and family centered care program with an aim to ensure patients, families, and care providers are supported in the hospital to have the best experience possible. Responsible to implement, evaluate, and oversee initiatives and projects that promote patient and family centered care in order to nurture and support the patient experience. I also oversee the Patient and Family Advisory Councils and recruitment of its persons and place patients and families on internal committees etc throughout the organization. Obtained CPXP in 2020.
