Kristen Kellar is the Manager of Patient and Family Engagement and joined the Tampa General Hospital Patient Experience team in 2018. Kristen is a passionate leader and innovator in the healthcare field with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a master’s degree in Public Health Policy and Management. She worked at Health Services Advisory Group as a Project Coordinator in healthcare quality improvement, and then gained medical sales experience as a Patient Services Manager at Laser Spine Institute. Her passion and experience focus on change management, process improvement, interpersonal communication and servant leadership. Kristen is bilingual in English and Spanish and her service as a community development volunteer in the US Peace Corps spurred her interest in patient-centric care.
