Our systems do not produce the clinical, safety, or quality outcomes patients and families deserve and health care professionals seek to achieve. Changing payment models are tying reimbursement to value. Organizations across the continuum are striving to transform the system of care to produce value. Partnering with patient and family advisors (PFA) to improve quality is a strategy some organizations have embraced.
