Join us on Tuesday, April 25th from 12 – 1 pm ET to discuss the impact of approaches to family presence during COVID-19 and where we go from here.
During the pandemic, many hospitals limited or restricted visitors to control the spread of the virus. These new policies or guidelines greatly impacted patients, family members, and clinicians and staff. IPFCC recently conducted a PCORI-funded project and learned from these key stakeholders about their experiences during COVID-19.
This PFCC.Connect informal conversation will provide an opportunity to share these learnings as well as strategies and ideas for “moving forward” to revisit hospital policies and recommit to family presence.
PFCC.Connect conversations are participatory in nature, building on the interest, experience, and expertise of those who join the discussion. We do not do a formal presentation but rather let the conversation be guided by what participants want to learn through sharing our collective experiences. Deborah Dokken, Senior Specialist, Patient and Family Partnerships, and Marie Abraham, Vice President, Programming and Publications will facilitate the discussion.
