Ensuring the Patient Voice in Quality: An Educational Program for Patient Groups and Advocates

On February 15, 2018, the NHC will host a day-long workshop in Washington, D.C., tailored for patient advocacy organizations on engaging in quality measurement, programs, and research.

Topics will include:

  • What is quality? How is it defined and measured in health care?
  • Why is quality measurement important to patients and their families?
  • How are quality measures used in research, health care programs, and reimbursement?
  • How can patients and advocates contribute to the quality discussion?

Registration fees:

  • FREE for patient advocacy organizations (scholarships are also available to help support attendance at the program)
  • $195 for NHC members (other non-profits and professional/membership associations that are not patient advocacy organizations)
  • $295 for NHC members (Business and industry, and affiliate categories)
  • $695 for General Registration Fee
